Job summary

Boughey Distribution is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative at our Wardle/Nantwich site on a 4 on 4 off day shift, 6am–6pm. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, with full training provided. The role requires hands‑on work, good teamwork and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is advantageous but full training is provided.
• Comfortable on your feet – this is a hands‑on role that involves lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders from pick lists and locating stock as required.
• Packing orders for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to customers.
• Completing paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers safely.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader immediately.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policy and responsibility for welfare of yourself and others.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our Warehousing teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6am to 6pm.

Day to Day

• - Picking orders from pick lists and locate stock as and when required.
• - Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• - Dispatching goods to our customers.
• - Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• - Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner.
• - Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
• - Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.
