Job summary

Boughey Distribution is recruiting Reach Truck Drivers on a permanent basis to work night shifts (4 on 4 off; 6pm to 6am) at Nantwich. You will be responsible for stock checking, location control, picking and handballing to ensure customers receive orders quickly.

Experience on a Reach Truck is essential and the role involves heavy lifting and safety compliance. This is a full warehouse role with opportunities for progression across the Boughey group, including funded training and excellent

Responsibilities

• Picking orders from pick lists and locating stock as required.
• Packing orders for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers without damage.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader; follow Health & Safety policy.

Job description

We are growing our warehousing team due to continued growth. We are recruiting for Reach Truck Drivers on a permanent basis to work night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern. Responsible for making sure our customers receive their orders as quickly as possible. The role is a full encompassing Warehouse position and will involve checking stock, goods and location controlling, picking and handballing.

Day to Day

• Picking orders from pick lists and locate stock as and when required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving,checking and storing products from suppliers in a manner so the Company is not liable for any damages.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others
• Ensuring work areas are kept in a safe,cleanand tidy manner.
• Able to operate Reach truck and other mobile plant as required.
