Job summary

Boughey Distribution is seeking a Reach Truck Operative at our Nantwich Wardle site on a 4 on 4 off pattern from 6am to 6pm. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, manage stock locations and complete paperwork in a safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck.
• Comfortable on your feet – lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and Health & Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders from pick lists and locate stock as required.
• Pack orders for dispatch.
• Dispatch goods to customers.
• Complete all paperwork and documents accurately.
• Receive, check and store products from suppliers in a safe manner.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and promote welfare of others.
• Operate Reach truck and other mobile plant when required.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site across a number of different teams working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 6am to 6pm.

OurReach Truck Operativeswork across a range of duties including but not limited tochecking stock, goods and location controlling,pickingand handballing.

Day to Day

• Picking orders from pick lists andlocatestock as and whenrequired.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents asrequired.
• Receiving,checkingand storing products from suppliers in asafe and secure manner.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leaderimmediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.
• OperateReach truck and other mobile plant whenrequired.
