Job description

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for ensuring accurate packaging of outbound orders, efficient receipt of incoming merchandise, and performing the corresponding clerical work in an effective manner. He/she assumes overall responsibility to complete various tasks duties within the warehouse, and to provide support to departments and inventory related activities.

Responsibilites:
  • Responsible for both global and local inventory and tasks. Keep the warehouse clean and orderly. Complete production orders. Create support tickets.
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders necessary to meet delivery schedules using RF scanners.
  • Package and label dangerous goods shipments according to applicable regulations.
  • Complete all necessary customs documentation for international shipments. Book transportation.
  • Package and ship all non-inventory shipments for internal requests and prioritize same day shipping requests.
  • Assist in yearly physical inventory count and random cycle counts during the year.
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage, correct quantities, and back orders; complete receiving in ERP using RF scanner and place items in proper locations.
  • Handle returns, delivers non-inventory items, load/unload trucks, manages warehouse transfers, maintains accurate inventory, and other duties as assigned.
  • If applicable: Serve as the designated driver for delivering packages to customers when items cannot be shipped through the regular transport company.
  • If applicable: Support RMA logistics, maintain cleanliness (5S), order supplies, liaise with carriers, participate in ISO audits or other audits related to the warehouse.

Full time, temporary role, working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

This is a Hybrid role and requires 3 days per week in the Lichfield Office.
