Job summary

Hillarys in Colwick is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team. This varied, hands-on role covers all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch, with a focus on accuracy, safety and service.

You will work on stock control, data entry, and IT systems, with opportunities to develop new skills such as forklift training. The role offers full training and a supportive, collaborative environment, emphasising teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience or working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
• Good IT skills including basic MS Word and Excel.
• A proactive and flexible attitude with willingness to support across tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and documenting incoming deliveries.
• Safely unloading goods and storing in correct locations.
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Carrying out stock control tasks including counting and rotating stock.
• Updating systems and data entry for various warehouse processes.
• Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment and adhering to H&S.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
• Operating warehouse equipment (including forklifts where trained).
• Providing general warehouse support as required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Colwick site. This is a varied and hands on role, offering the chance to be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations. You will play a key part in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of goods. From receiving and processing deliveries to preparing orders for customers, your contribution will help maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and service., In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving, checking, and documenting incoming deliveries
• Safely unloading goods and ensuring they are stored in the correct locations
• Processing contract manufactured goods in line with company procedures
• Accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatchCarrying out stock control tasks, including counting and rotating stock
• Updating systems and completing administrative tasks, including data entry
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
• Operating warehouse equipment (including forklifts, where trained), Be part of a supportive and collaborative team
