Job summary

Equation Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics operation. You will help ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time in a full-time role with immediate impact.

No two days are the same and your hard work will contribute to a supportive team where everyone plays their part. Prior experience is not essential; reliability and willingness to get stuck in are valued.

The Role of the Warehouse Operative

Working as part of the warehouse team, you'll help keep daily operations running smoothly, ensuring stock is handled safely, orders are prepared accurately and customers receive the products they need on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

What We're Looking For in the Warehouse Operative

You don't necessarily need years of warehouse experience. What matters most is your attitude, reliability and willingness to get stuck in.

You'll be well suited to this role if you are:

• Reliable and punctual - someone the team can count on.
• Hardworking and motivated - happy to stay productive throughout the day.
• A team player - willing to support colleagues and work towards shared goals.
• Accurate and organised - able to follow instructions and handle stock carefully.
• Flexible and adaptable - comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable - happy with a hands‑on role involving lifting, moving stock and spending much of the day on your feet.
• Comfortable with basic IT, literacy and numeracy - essential for following instructions and processing orders accurately.

Previous warehouse experience in picking, packing, stock control or dispatch would be beneficial.

Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), particularly Sage, or holding a valid forklift licence would also be an advantage, but neither is essential.
