Job summary

UBT is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced, high-performing team. You will help receive, store, assemble and dispatch products safely and accurately, supporting continuous improvement across the warehouse function.

The role emphasises reliability, ownership of responsibilities and a proactive approach to teamwork, with a quarterly bonus, pension and flexible working options where possible.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining quality standards
• Proactive and positive approach to teamwork
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• A commitment to health and safety best practice
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift Truck certification (desirable, not essential)
• A strong work ethic with the drive to continuously improve and contribute to team success

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and check deliveries
• Store goods safely using correct handling methods and equipment
• Pick, prepare and dispatch orders efficiently
• Support the pre‑assembly of electrical and non‑electrical products
• Load and unload stock safely, including the use of forklift equipment where required
• Assist with stock control and stock‑taking activities
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Report stock discrepancies and operational issues promptly
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure customer deadlines are achieved
• Follow company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements at all times

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm

We're recruiting on behalf of a successful and expanding manufacturer seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their operations team.

This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and thrives as part of a close‑knit team. You'll play an important role in ensuring products are received, stored, assembled and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day warehouse operation, ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently while helping the business consistently meet customer expectations.
