Driverz Work in London is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative to join our busy logistics team. You will handle materials, stock, and shipping/receiving with emphasis on accuracy and safety. The role requires physical stamina, familiarity with warehouse software, and a Full UK Driving Licence.

The position offers 40 hours per week and competitive hourly pay of £12.71–£13.00. Casual dress code and on-site parking are provided.

Qualificações

• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.

• Experience with forklift trucks and warehouse software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle materials, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse using manual handling techniques and forklift trucks where certified.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing.
• Pick and pack orders accurately to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Stock shelves efficiently, maintaining organized storage areas for quick access and inventory control.
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to uphold product standards.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, completing documentation, and coordinating with carriers.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, following proper ergonomic practices to prevent injury.

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
• Full UK Manuel License is a must
• Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems or inventory software will help you excel in this role.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with basic maintenance tasks can be beneficial.
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and load/unload operations regularly.
• Strong attention to detail for quality control processes and stock accuracy.
