Job summary

A client company in the SK23 area is looking for an experienced Warehouse / Labourer. In this role, you will manage the smooth operations of Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control departments. The job includes picking and loading items for timely customer delivery while ensuring effective stock checking. You will contribute to a positive, supportive work environment where employees are valued, and have responsibility for assisting the branch manager with various operational needs. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organisation of Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments.
• Pick and load van / carrier accurately for timely delivery.
• Check stock quantities against computer records.
• Develop effective solutions to challenges.
• Ensure smooth warehouse operations and assist the branch manager.
• Create a supportive environment for employees.

Job description

My client in the SK23 area are looking for an experienced Warehouse / Labourer.

Main Duties include

• Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments
• Pick and load van / carrier accurately for timely customer delivery when required
• Check stock quantities are correct against computer
• Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles
• Ensure the operational of the Warehouse run smoothly and assist the branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, preparing weekly plans, developing the warehouse team and work with Drivers to ensure the best delivery service for customers.
• Create a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their true potential
