Job summary

Voy is seeking an entry-level IT Engineer to be the first point of contact for IT at warehouse sites and support broader staff. This on-site role includes owning starter/leaver IT setups and weekend rota coverage with growth potential across the global IT function.

You’ll work in a busy operational environment, setting up devices, managing printers and scanners, and ensuring secure access via Google Workspace, with hands-on hardware responsibilities from day one.

Qualifications

• At least two years in an IT support role (apprenticeship or service-desk).
• Hands-on hardware and peripherals troubleshooting on-site.
• Experience with Windows and/or macOS.
• Good communication and calm, methodical approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work the required weekend rota (non-negotiable).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line on-site IT support for warehouse and office staff.
• Set up, configure, and enrol laptops and workstations; manage devices via MDM.
• Support warehouse hardware (printers, scanners, label printers, packing-station equipment).
• Troubleshoot connectivity, peripherals, and printing issues on-site.
• Manage Google Workspace user accounts (create, suspend, troubleshoot).
• Own on-site starter/leaver IT setups and secure asset recovery.
• Maintain IT asset records and stock levels for devices and consumables.
• Provide weekend IT cover during dispatch operations.
• Follow security and compliance practices in a regulated environment.
