Job summary

Tech Talent ID is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a leading global logistics provider's engineering division. You will provide walk-up and hands-on support for offices and warehouse floors, and maintain laptops, desktops, handheld scanners and label printers.

This greenfield opportunity lets you shape the IT function across Erith and London Bridge, with clear progression routes into leadership or infrastructure and cloud paths. The role is full‑time onsite, split between Kent and London.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Windows desktop environment.
• Strong networking skills to troubleshoot Wi‑Fi, cabling and server connectivity.
• Proactive, self-starting mindset with a drive to fix issues.
• Excellent communication and patience when assisting non‑technical users.

Our client, a leading global logistics provider, is looking for a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join their growing engineering division. This represents a greenfield opportunity to really shape and own the IT function across two operational sites in Erith and a head office in London Bridge.

The Role:

• Provide walk-up and hands-on support for offices and warehouse floors.
• Maintain critical hardware including laptops, desktops, handheld scanners, and label printers.
• Build the IT triage process from scratch and map out existing assets.
• Drive the transition toward modern, cloud-managed devices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in and supporting a Windows desktop environment.
• Core networking skills to troubleshoot Wi-Fi, cabling, and server connectivity.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset, you look to fix things before you are asked to.
• Exceptional communication skills and patience when helping non-technical users under pressure.
