Job summary

DHL Supply Chain’s Worksop site is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead a fast-paced operation at Manton Wood – Site 4. You will inspire a warehouse team, optimise daily activities and drive safety, engagement and continuous improvement.

The role requires previous supervision experience in warehouse/logistics, strong WMS and MS Office skills, and a focus on building effective working relationships across all levels. A rewarding role with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse/logistics environment is essential.
• Proficient in using WMS and Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate across all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience in automated FMCG warehousing is advantageous.

• Inspire and lead a warehouse team to achieve operational excellence, service targets and customer expectations.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring effective task allocation, resource management and productivity performance.
• Communicate KPIs, SLAs and operational priorities through regular team briefs and engagement sessions.
• Champion a strong safety culture by maintaining Health & Safety standards and compliance.
• Support colleague development, continuous improvement projects and employee relations activities.

Pay Rate: £31, 650. 87

Grade: RCS N

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday rotational 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm

Location: Worksop - S80 3EG
