Job summary

Be part of DHL Supply Chain's flagship Life Sciences & Healthcare operation at Infinity Park Derby, delivering an automation‑driven service in a purpose-built facility. We are looking for a First Line Manager to help shape an operation that starts strong and scales with critical healthcare supply chains across the UK.

You will lead, coach and support frontline teams, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while upholding high safety standards in a sophisticated warehouse

Qualifications

• Have experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics or operational environment.
• Experience working in automated warehouse operations.
• Confident in managing performance, engagement and colleague development.
• Strong focus on health and safety, operational standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and supporting colleagues to achieve productivity, quality, and service targets.
• Monitoring operational performance and using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conducting team briefings, performance reviews, and one-to-one coaching sessions.
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture through observations, audits, and safe ways of working.
• Supporting automated warehouse processes and ensuring operational flow across your area.

Pay Rate: £34,000
Grade: RCS N
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday Rotating 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
Location: Derby, DE73 5BH
