Job summary

Minster Buckley is seeking a Warehouse & Yard Assistant to join its busy branch team. You’ll welcome customers, help process orders and operate a forklift to load and unload goods, with training provided as needed.

You will maintain stock levels, ensure safety standards, and work with colleagues to identify improvements while keeping the yard and warehouse orderly and professional.

Qualifications

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Background within a Warehouse environment.
• A positive team player.
• A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a 'customer 1st' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects.
• Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck (training will be provided).
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
• Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts.
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority.
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.
• Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck work.

WhatYou'llBe Doing:

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects

• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
• Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts

Hours of Work:

7.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
