Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant for a full-time role in Esher. You will greet customers, identify needs, and deliver prompt, friendly service across yard, counter and shop floor.

Loading activities are part of the role with forklift training provided. A supportive team environment offers a competitive salary and strong employee benefits package.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30 – 17:00, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
