Jewson, part of Stark UK, is recruiting a Yard Supervisor for our Newton Abbot branch. You will welcome customers, learn product lines, and support the management team while ensuring efficient yard and stock operations.

This full-time role requires driving a positive, team-oriented culture with a focus on safety and high service standards. Training for forklift use and route planning will be provided.

We are recruiting for a Yard Supervisorto join our thriving branch in Newton Abbot, and become part of a successful and supportive team.

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects

• Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice

• Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning

• Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)

• Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed

• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products

• Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts

• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Working Hours:

This is afull-time role working Monday-Friday07:00 –17:00, and every other Saturdayfrom08:00-12:00
