Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK is seeking a customer-focused team member for a full-time role at Jewson in Leicester. You will deliver outstanding service at yard, counter and shop floor, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to support sales and growth.

You’ll work Monday to Friday with Saturday hours, learn product ranges, and participate in forklift training as needed. A supportive environment offers development opportunities and comprehensive staff benefits.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:00 –16:30 or7:30 –17:00, and every other Saturdayfrom08:00-12:00.

WhatYou’llBe Doing

• Acknowledge every customer,ascertaintheirneedsand wow them with quick and efficient service

• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs

• Maintain excellent standards across theyard,counterandshopfloor

• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing,restockingand loading vehicles

• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service asrequired

• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs

• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
