Job summary

Minster Buckley is seeking a Warehouse & Yard Assistant to join the busy team. You will warmly welcome customers, assist with projects, and help load/unload vehicles using a forklift (training provided). Maintain stock levels in warehouse and yard while upholding Health & Safety.

We value a positive, customer-first attitude and a willingness to work both indoors and outdoors. Prior warehouse experience is welcome but not essential; join us in a supportive environment where teamwork

Qualifications

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Background within a Warehouse environment.
• A positive team player.
• A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a ‘customer 1st’ attitude.
• Confident working both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects.
• Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
• Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
• Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck work

Minster are looking for a Warehouse and Yard Assistant to join the busy, supportive team at their branch in Buckley.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects

Hours Of Work

7.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
