Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Clerk to support the nursing team on Ward 16, a respiratory ward. You will handle admissions, transfers and discharges using the electronic patient record and manage day-to-day administration.

The role is 30 hours per week, with potential to extend to 37.5 hours, and offers flexible working options. Interview w/c 26 October 2026; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Greet all visitors to the unit in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner.
• Undertake general organisation of paperwork and notes within the Unit to ensure an organized department.
• Admit, transfer and discharge patients from the system using the electronic patient record.
• Answer the telephone, taking and delivering messages in an appropriate and helpful manner. Manage Out-patients diary.
• Liaise with staff from other departments including bed manager/medical records/divisional bleep holders as requested.
