Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cleaning Assistant in the Oak Ward. Band 2 role offered at £25,272 per annum pro rata for 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00. Role includes a thorough cleaning service across the ward and hospital, with additional duties and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• General education to GCSE or equivalent.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• NVQ level 2 Cleaning.
• Basic infection Control certificate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties to the required standard to keep the hospital clean, safe and welcoming.
• Suction clean & dust control sweeping; damp and wet mopping; deep cleaning/periodic cleaning as required.
• Exit & terminal cleans as per hospital policy and work instructions.
• Curtain changes; cleaning of equipment and signage; ensure stock requests are completed.
