Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Clerk for Ward 23 at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The role provides clerical and administrative support to the ward, handling telephone enquiries and liaising with patients, relatives and ward staff.

The post is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. The NHS AfC Band 2 role offers a salary of £25,272 per annum pro rata, with opportunities to contribute to a busy acute respiratory ward.

Qualifications

• Experience with computers, data input and word processing.
• Experience of face-to-face and/or telephone contact with the general public.
• Experience in suggesting improvements to own or team practices.
• Previous NHS experience is desirable.
• Previous clerical experience in an administrative setting.
• Experience in use of Lorenzo, Evolve, Real Time ADT, Microsoft.
