Advance Housing and Support Ltd is seeking a Female Waking Nights Support Worker in Christchurch, Bournemouth BH23. The role offers 27 or 36-hour night contracts across weekends and holidays to support people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs.

Training and development are provided to help you grow in social care. No prior care experience is required; your values and determination matter.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; values and determination matter.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication with people.
• Able to complete quality support records.
• Willingness to achieve Care Certificate.
• English literacy and numeracy required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed.
• Ensure the premises are secure and safe at night.
• Support with meal times and food preparation if required.
• Administer medication if required.
• Maintain and update care plans and records.
• Keep training up to date.
• Monitor customer safety with night checks.
• Assist with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
