Job summary

Advance Housing and Support Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Sarisbury Green, Southampton SO31 to help customers with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live the lives they choose. You will join a supportive team, receive training, and have opportunities to progress within Advance.

The role requires working 37.5 hours per week, with shifts across days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. A full DBS check and safeguarding compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Good at communicating with people and working in a team.
• Able to complete quality support records and maintain customer records.
• Literacy and numeracy in English.
• Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Support with independent skills.
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required.
• Keeping up to date with your training.
