A part-time, permanent Wakeful Scheme Support Officer at our Young Persons Support Accommodation Service, Llys Awen, Gorseinon. The working pattern for the role is based on a 3 week rolling rota - 10hrs per shift, 2 shifts per week, 22:00pm - 08:00am, every 3rd weekend off.
Llys Awen provides 24-hour temporary supported accommodation in the Gorseinon area of Swansea for young people aged between 16 to 21 years old. The staff team specialise in providing support within a psychology informed environment. Our Scheme Support Officers enable our young people to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives.

You will act as a first point of contact for the people we support. You will build positive relationships by helping them make a transition into independent living and advise on move on options. You will provide advice with budgeting and money management, including welfare benefits, as well as support them in a practical way, with regards to day to day living skills.
