Job summary

Quod is an independent, bustling, city centre restaurant, bar & terrace with over 250 seats. Located on Oxford’s famous High Street, Quod is open all day, every day serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.

We offer a sensible shift pattern, across a 35-hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off) with an OTE up to £18.40 per hour, including non-contractual tronc (service charge). Part-time hours may also be considered.

Qualifications

• Motivated to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Passionate about food, drinks, wines and cocktails.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant.
• Experience in a similar busy restaurant.
• Eligible to work in the UK with two references on request.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive service to guests throughout shifts.
• Take orders and serve food and beverages.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

The menu consists of European classics with an emphasis on British produce. The busy restaurant, with a high level of repeat business, is open every day of the year.

Quod is part of ‘The Oxford Collection’; a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments, three restaurants that consists of the Old Bank Hotel, the Old Parsonage Hotel, 36 St Giles, Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant & Bar, and Quod Restaurant & Bar.
