Job summary

Gees in North Oxford is seeking waiting staff to join our modern British dining team. You will welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks to ensure a memorable dining experience.

We offer a 40-hour week (Mon–Sun rota with two days off) and benefits including meals on duty, 50% food discount, recruitment incentive, pension, and development opportunities. Part-time hours may also be considered.

Gees is North Oxford’s neighbourhood restaurant. Set within a unique, Grade II listed Victorian Conservatory, Gees has been welcoming guests for over four decades, and in Summer 2026 underwent a bold transformation. Gees' newest chapter offers an evolved take on Modern British cooking; taking pride inusing only the freshest, carefully sourced ingredients, and combining nostalgic cuts with intuitive flavour combinations that evolve with the seasons.It continues as a well-established destination for adventurous, exciting and contemporary cooking.

We offer a sensible shift pattern, across a 40-hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off) with an OTE up to £18.40 per hour, including non-contractual tronc (service charge).

Part-time hours may also be considered.
