Quod Restaurant & Bar in Oxford, part of The Oxford Collection, is recruiting a Senior Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team led by the Head Chef. The role offers a 45-hour week with a rota across Monday to Sunday, with two days off, and an OTE up to £16.96 per hour (£39,686 per annum). Part-time hours may also be considered.

We provide meals on duty, 50% discount on food, a recruitment incentive up to £700, and ongoing development opportunities within the company.

• Experience in similar restaurants is beneficial, though full training will be provided.
• Passionate about cooking seasonal ingredients.
• Able to work under intense pressure during service.

Located on Oxford’s famous High Street, Quod is open all day, every day serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & dinner. The menu consists of European classics with an emphasis on British produce. We are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team run by Rohan Kashid, Head Chef at Quod and Head of Menu Development at The Oxford Collection.

The ideal candidate will:

• Thrive on giving guests a memorable experience
• Be passionate and knowledgeable about food
• Be able to work under pressure
• Have effective time management skills

Typical duties of this role are:

• Confidence in running a section during service
• Following recipe and presentation specifications
• Maintain prep levels appropriate to service
• Ensure all deliveries are put away as soon as they arrive and stock is rotated using the First In First Out method checking “Use by Dates”
• Attend and participate in all team meetings

Requirements for the Senior Chef de Partie position:

• Working under intense pressure
• Passionate about cooking seasonal ingredients
• Experience working in similar restaurants is beneficial although full training will be provided

We offer a sensible shift pattern across a 45-hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off) with an OTE up to £16.96 per hour, £39,686.00 per annum.

Based on 45 hours per week, and including non-contractual tronc (service charge).

Part-time hours may also be considered.
