Job summary

Gees Restaurant & Bar in North Oxford is seeking enthusiastic waiting staff to welcome guests in a vibrant, seasonal kitchen environment. You will engage with diners, deliver attentive service and help create memorable experiences. The role features a 40-hour week on a Monday–Sunday rota, with an OTE up to £18.40 per hour including service charge.

Gees is North Oxford’s neighbourhood restaurant. Set within a unique, Grade II listed Victorian Conservatory, Gees has been welcoming guests for over four decades, and in Summer 2026 underwent a bold transformation. Gees' newest chapter offers an evolved take on Modern British cooking; taking pride inusing only the freshest, carefully sourced ingredients, and combining nostalgic cuts with intuitive flavour combinations that evolve with the seasons.It continues as a well-established destination for adventurous, exciting and contemporary cooking.

We offer a sensible shift pattern, across a 40-hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off) with an OTE up to £18.40 per hour, including non-contractual tronc (service charge).

Part-time hours may also be considered.
