Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Derby is seeking a VP Programmes – Portfolio and Strategy to lead portfolio shaping, prioritisation and governance for the Aftermarket Operations portfolio. Qualifications

• Can demonstrate behaviours that meet the six R-R leadership expectations
• Ideally a member of a professional body or working to achieve an IPMA Level B or Chartered Qualification (Check PMI equivalent)
• Has demonstrable experience in the management of programmes / projects of increasing complexity and has successfully delivered Level B complexity projects.
• Have worked in a programme or portfolio environment.
• Ideally has experience in all stages of a programme lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery of one or more of those stages.
• Demonstrable experience of leading large, multi-faceted globally distributed teams towards effective delivery of complex business requirements
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information with individuals at all levels within the organisation.
• Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of portfolio shaping, prioritisation, governance and performance.
• Balance transformation, MRO capability growth, and business-as-usual delivery to optimise ROI.
• Develop and influence portfolio investment recommendations with Civil Portfolio Planning.
• Define and evolve governance frameworks across Aftermarket Operations with clear accountability.
• Lead identification, assessment and management of portfolio risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate and integrate across the portfolio to maximise delivery performance and ROI.
