Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in the UK is seeking a Technical Programme Manager for Global Research & Technology based in Derby or Bristol. You will lead end-to-end technology programmes across composite fan systems, low emissions, turbine tech and whole engine projects, interfacing with global teams and partners.

The role requires proven delivery experience in aerospace, strong stakeholder management and the ability to navigate complex priorities, governance, and funding programmes, with growth

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• Member of a professional body or working toward appropriate level of qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in project management or equivalent.
• Experience leading multi-functional teams in a complex environment.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and develop efficient ways of working.
• Proven track record of programme delivery, ideally in Aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage budget, plan and risk for the programme areas.
• Lead packages of work across Technology Programmes with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Generate, lead and deliver technology programmes to TRL6 validation.
• Support delivery of key funding projects to enable funding strategy.
• Adapt plans and priorities to set direction for the team.
• Deliver governance and risk management across global teams.
• Identify continuous improvement and efficiency opportunities.
