Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Technical Programme Manager to drive research and technology programmes across multiple engine systems, including Composite Fan Systems and UltraFan developments. You will manage end-to-end execution, budget, and stakeholder engagement with internal Rolls-Royce teams, academic partners, suppliers and funding bodies.

The role requires strong delivery track record, ability to operate in a complex, multi-priority environment and experience in aerospace programme

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrable experience in project management or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience of leading multi-functional teams in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage budgets and risk for technology areas within the R&T portfolio.
• Lead packages of work across technology programmes and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Generate and deliver key technology programmes to achieve TRL6 validation.
• Support funding projects to enable funding strategy.
• Adapt plans and priorities to set direction for the team within policies and plans.
• Deliver governance and risk management excellence across multiple technology strands and global teams.
