Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking experienced Technical Programme Managers to join Global R+T, with roles across Composite Fan Systems, Low Emissions Combustion Systems, Turbines Technology Development and Whole Engine Systems. Based in Derby or Bristol, these permanent positions demand strong delivery track records and customer/partner management in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrable experience in project management or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience of leading multi-functional teams in a complex environment.
• Demonstrate a bountiful mindset, dealing with ambiguity and developing efficient ways of working.
• Proven track record of programme delivery, ideally in Aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage budget, plan and risk for the Composite Fan System, Low Emissions Combustion, Turbine Technology or Whole Engine Systems areas.
• Lead packages of work across the Technology Programmes, including multi-disciplinary TRL development and cross-functional teams.
• Generate, lead and deliver key technology programmes to deliver TRL6 validation.
• Support the delivery of funding projects to enable the Group R&T Funding strategy.
• Adapt plans and priorities for the area to set direction for the team with governance and process discipline.
• Deliver high levels of governance and risk management when integrating multiple technology strands and global teams.
