Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking an experienced Technical Programme Manager in the UK for the Global R&T organisation, based in Derby or Bristol. The role focuses on end-to-end programme delivery across Composite Fan Systems, Low Emissions Combustion, Turbine Technology, or Whole Engine Systems with a strong emphasis on governance and government-funded projects.

Successful candidates will manage complex, multi-stakeholder programmes, deliver TRL6 maturity, and collaborate with academic partners, suppliers

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in project management or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience leading multi-functional teams in a complex environment.
• Proven track record of programme delivery, ideally in Aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage budget, plan and risk for the designated R&T portfolio areas.
• Lead packages of work across Technology Programmes with multi-disciplinary teams and partners.
• Generate, lead and deliver key technology programmes to achieve TRL6 validation.
• Support the delivery of funding projects to enable the Group R&T Funding strategy.
• Adapt plans and priorities to set direction for the team with governance and risk management.
