Job summary

VIVO Defence Services in Buckinghamshire recruits an experienced supervisor to lead a maintenance team across the Home Counties. You will manage operatives, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure works meet budget, timeframes and KPI targets.

Role emphasizes safety compliance, site inspections, and mentoring apprentices, with a hybrid work setup and a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri). Experience in housing or maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in a housing or maintenance environment.
• Full clean driving licence.
• SC Clearance acceptable or in-scope.
• Strong communication with tenants and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of operatives to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality.
• Oversee supplier and subcontractor works, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Liaise with tenants and clients to resolve queries and maintain satisfaction.
• Inspect void properties, specify works and present accurate orders to housing offices.
• Mentor apprentices and support colleagues to foster a positive team culture.
• Coordinate with administration and call centres to schedule and deliver works; support sustainability goals.
