Job summary

VIVO Defence Services, a joint venture between Serco and EQUANS, is seeking a Voids Supervisor to lead our Repairs and Maintenance team. You will oversee operatives, manage supplier works, liaise with tenants and clients, and ensure properties are safe and ready for new tenants.

Responsibilities include day-to-day supervision, inspections, risk assessments, mentoring apprentices, and driving efficiency and sustainability in maintenance workloads while maintaining high-quality standards and KPI

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team, ideally in housing or maintenance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of operatives to ensure productivity and quality.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor works to meet KPI, time and budget.
• Liaise with tenants and clients to address queries and ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect void properties, specify works, and present accurate orders to housing offices.
• Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Mentor apprentices and support colleagues to foster a positive team.
• Coordinate with admin and call centers to schedule and deliver works, supporting sustainability efforts.
