Job summary

Decagon is seeking a Solutions Architect – Voice to shape how enterprises deploy Decagon's AI agents into live voice and contact center environments. This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales engineering, telephony architecture, and enterprise contact center strategy.

You will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise prospects and customers, guiding them through complex, ambiguous voice deployment conversations—from SIP trunking and call routing to media handling and real-time

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in customer-facing technical roles with a focus on voice, telephony, or contact center platforms.
• Deep fluency in enterprise contact center platforms—Genesys, Amazon Connect, Cisco, or Google CCAI—and core SIP/telephony fundamentals.
• Hands-on CPaaS experience with Twilio or Telnyx, including BYOC configuration and programmable voice.
• Demonstrated success guiding enterprise customers through ambiguous technical conversations and discovery.
• Strong ability to engage diverse stakeholders and translate voice requirements into deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to design voice deployment solutions addressing customer constraints and CX outcomes.
• Translate complex contact center landscapes (Genesys, Amazon Connect, Cisco, Google CCAI) into clear integration plans for Decagon's voice platform.
• Design SIP integration approaches including BYOC trunking, REFER-based transfers, header propagation, and media paths.
• Diagnose multi-leg call flows down to packet level and establish methods to trace and resolve SIP/media issues in production.
• Develop scalable pre-sales processes, deployment playbooks, and reference architectures to support growth.
