Job summary

Decagon, a leading conversational AI platform, seeks an Agent Deployment Engineer to drive end-to-end AI agent builds for strategic customers. You will own design, implementation, and production deployment, partnering with customers and internal teams to meet success metrics.

You’ll collaborate with Agent PMs, Engineering, GTM, and Design to ship high‑quality, scalable agent solutions while balancing hands-on work with structured planning in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong technical foundation: APIs and integration experience.
• Ability to translate requirements into actionable plans and delivery.
• Experience delivering production-grade customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and execution of AI agent builds for enterprise customers.
• Design and engineer core agentic logic for behavior.
• Engineer and validate guardrails for safe, compliant agent performance.
• Architect, build, and test integrations with customer systems.
• Interface with senior technical stakeholders to define success criteria.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve failures via root-cause analysis.
• Design evaluation and regression-testing frameworks.
• Translate customer needs into internal docs and drive platform improvements.
• Partner with PMs, Eng, Design, and GTM to deliver repeatable builds.
