Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is seeking a friendly Visitor Experience & Event Assistant to join Skipton Town Hall. Responsibilities

• Provide a professional visitor experience, welcoming visitors and providing information about venues, exhibitions and events
• Process retail and box office sales
• Support the delivery of events, performances, workshops and private hire bookings
• Assist with setting up rooms, seating and equipment for events
• Assist with bar operations and hospitality services
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety across our venues
• Support visitor engagement activities for audiences of all ages
• Help to ensure our buildings, collections and visitors remain safe and secure
