Job summary

The Great Yorkshire Events Centre in Harrogate is seeking reliable casual events staff to support a wide range of events. This hands-on role involves setting up spaces, assisting with delivery and breakdown, and providing front-of-house support as needed.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided. Competitive hourly pay and the chance to work across many events offer flexible shifts for those balancing other commitments.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces and lay out furniture per event plans.
• Assist with venue setup and breakdown activities.
• Support waste management and recycling initiatives.
• Clean and prepare event spaces with safe use of cleaning equipment.
• Provide front-of-house support when required.
• Assist the wider events team to ensure events are delivered successfully.
• Undertake other duties associated with event operations.
