Job summary

inspiring vet care's Woodley practice (The Woodley Vet) seeks a friendly Receptionist to warmly welcome clients and their pets, manage bookings, and support day-to-day running in a busy veterinary team.

You’ll handle calls, payments and client records with care, while collaborating with clinical and admin colleagues to ensure a smooth client and patient journey. This is a 40-hour full-time fixed-term role in Woodley, RG5.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
• Answering telephone calls and emails; responding to client enquiries efficiently and compassionately.
• Booking appointments and managing the appointment diary effectively.
• Processing payments and handling client accounts accurately.
• Supporting the clinical team with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
• Maintaining accurate client and patient records.
• Assisting with general administrative duties to support the wider practice team.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring every client feels valued and supported.
