Animal Trust (UK) in Warrington is opening a brand-new 24/7 veterinary hospital and is seeking Receptionists to join the team. You will be the friendly first contact, assisting clients with appointments, processing payments, and supporting the clinical team to ensure compassionate care.
The role requires experience in medical/veterinary reception, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Are you an enthusiastic advocate for animals, driven by the desire to contribute to our mission of ensuring every pet has access to affordable veterinary care? We are currently seeking Receptionists to become an integral part of our team at our brand-new site in Warrington, Cheshire.
Our Warrington site is our 17th location and 6th hospital, and we’re incredibly excited about bringing our model of accessible veterinary care to the area. Opening as a 24/7 hospital, the site will provide round-the-clock care for pets, delivering high-quality treatment at an affordable price while supporting pets and their owners whenever they need us most.
Our Receptionists are an important link between the clinical and non-clinical needs of our surgery’s operation. Supported by the management team on-site, you will help us achieve our primary aim of ensuring sick pets can access our services.
Assisting our clients with appointments, taking payments, diary management, debt control and insurance, will be the main duties of this role. Your supportive collaboration with the clinical teams will be paramount in ensuring they have everything they need to provide compassionate care to those relying on our services.
Experience working on a medical or veterinary reception is required for this role. You will need strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. We are especially looking for people who have worked with clients in stressful situations.
Taking your pet to the vet when they are sick can be very difficult, and sometimes our clients have to say goodbye to a pet they consider to be a family member. Empathy, understanding and good communication are therefore especially important. We will probably ask you at your interview about times when you have had to face similar situations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and playing a vital role in supporting both clients and clinical staff in a busy, compassionate hospital environment.
