Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our Heswall practice on a part-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, delivering a welcoming, professional and caring experience while supporting appointment scheduling.

Working 35 hours per week across 4 shifts with a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota, you’ll help manage the diary, handle enquiries, process payments and maintain accurate client records.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Churchview Vetson a part-time permanent basis.

We are a friendly and professional veterinary practice dedicated to providing high‑quality care for pets and exceptional service for their owners. Our team is passionate about animal welfare and committed to creating a welcoming environment for clients and their pets.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• 35hrs per week. 4 shifts per week with an additional 1 in 3 Saturday morning weekend rota. Primarily based in the Heswall branch but there will be occasions when the Neston branch will require shift coverage
