Job summary

Village Vet Cambridge, part of Linnaeus, is seeking a Float Client Care Assistant to cover our Cambridgeshire practices (Milton, Longstanton, Cottenham, Royston and Whittlesford). The role is front-of-house, requiring a flexible, sociable person with a passion for excellent customer service.

You will welcome clients and their pets, manage bookings, and support administration while working a 28-hour week spread over four weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is essential.
• Proactive, positive attitude with good organisation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Front of house: welcome clients and their pets to the branches.
• Manage and book appointments in a professional manner.
• Answer and make calls to clients and insurers with high service levels.
• Assist with a range of administrative duties and basic financial tasks.
