Job summary

Gloucester Barnwood Vets for Pets is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Advisor to deliver exceptional client service and pet care. You will act as the bridge between clients and the clinical team, greet clients warmly, manage bookings and payments, and support the daily operations using our online booking system.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience working in a veterinary practice or receptionist role.
• Calm, organised and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Loves pets and brings energy, enthusiasm.
• Balances compassion with efficiency.
• Comfortable using computer systems and managing bookings/payments.
• Must have a can-do attitude.
• Answers the phone, deals with queries, transfers calls and takes messages.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to clients and care to their pets; act as a link between clients and the clinical team.
• Build strong relationships with clients, their pets and the practice team.
• Ensure client satisfaction at each visit and that they look forward to the next visit.
• Greet clients, offer support, guidance, and expertise; manage payments and bookings confidently.
• Coordinate day-to-day routines using the online booking system; computer literacy is a must.
