Job summary

Medivet Bisley is seeking a proactive Client Care Assistant to greet clients, manage appointments, and support the veterinary team. You will handle phone calls, maintain records, and ensure a welcoming environment for pets and their owners.

Ideal candidates will have strong reception skills, be numerate, and comfortable with online booking systems. Veterinary receptionist experience is desirable, and weekend work on a 1-in-4 basis at Guildford may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent client-facing reception skills and a warm, professional welcome both in person and over the phone.
• Strong numeracy and comfort with using online appointment booking systems.
• A team player who can stay calm under pressure and adapt to a busy practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greeting clients on arrival and updating records.
• Triage emergency appointments and rearrange as needed.
• Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability.
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages; book online when possible.
• Process repeat prescription orders and support the clinical team with admin tasks.
