Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a part-time Receptionist to provide a friendly, professional welcome to clients and support a smooth patient journey. You will help manage appointments, handle enquiries, and work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive experience for both clients and their animals.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time role working 19 hours per week over 3 days, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am-3pm, Friday 9- 5pm.

Key Responsibilities

This is a varied and important role, providing a welcoming first point of contact for our clients while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

We are looking for someone who is approachable and confident when dealing with clients, who is highly organised and has good attention to detail.

The successful candidate should be comfortable handling administrative tasks, using computers and standard operating systems.

Previous experience in a veterinary practice, agricultural business or similar customer facing role would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

An interest in farming or the veterinary sector would also be beneficial.
