Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a friendly, organised Receptionist for The Neighbourhood Vet in SE London on a part-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients, managing appointments, handling enquiries and supporting client communications to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

This role offers a 2-days-a-week pattern with weekend coverage on a rotating schedule, plus benefits and a collaborative team environment focused on care and community.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at The Neighbourhood Vet on a part-time basis.

The Neighbourhood Vet is a lovely 20-vet practice in SE London established over 12 years ago. Our main hospital is situated in the heart of East Dulwich on popular Lordship Lane, and our two branch clinics are in Crofton Park and Penge, where we are a strong part of the local community.

Although we are a large group of 72 fantastic people, we have a close-knit, caring team. We pride ourselves on being kind and compassionate, doing the right thing for our staff, clients, and their pets, and we like to laugh and try to make every day at work a good one.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• 2 days a week from Monday to Friday (average is 9 hours a day excluding 45 min lunch break)

PLUS

• 1: 4 weekends - Saturday: 8:30am-3:00pm and Sunday: 9:00am-7:00pm
• 1:8 weekends - Saturday: 9:00am-7:00pm
