Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Bristol is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic to join a modern workshop. You will diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of vehicles while maintaining digital service records and working within DVSA standards.

Qualified candidates have 1 year of hands-on experience with NVQ/IMI Level 3, with opportunities for manufacturer training and a supportive team environment in a Bristol-based garage.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle maintenance & repair with 1 year hands-on experience.
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining.
• Full UK driving licence; MOT tester licence preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle diagnostics, servicing, safety inspections, and repairs across a wide variety of makes and models.
• Utilize modern diagnostic tools and scanners to identify and rectify faults.
• Conduct MOT inspections (if qualified) in DVSA guidelines.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain digital service records.
• Maintain a clean, safety-first workshop and collaborate with the technical team.
