Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Bath is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join a busy workshop. You will carry out routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs using modern software to identify faults and restore vehicles to peak condition.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 schedule with zero weekend shifts, a competitive £35,000–£40,000 salary plus bonus, pension, life insurance, onsite parking and staff discounts on vehicles and servicing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in light vehicle maintenance & repair.
• Minimum 1–2 years in a busy workshop.
• F-Gas certification preferred or keen to obtain.
• Full UK driving licence; MOT Tester licence preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and complex mechanical repairs to high standards.
• Perform MOT inspections if qualified and in DVSA compliance.
• Use modern diagnostic tools to fault-find and repair.
• Maintain precise digital job records and work as a team.
