Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Bristol is seeking a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our busy workshop. You will carry out official MOT tests, service schedules, and diagnostic work in a clean, high-tech environment.

We offer a standard Monday to Friday role from 08:30 to 17:00 with no weekend shifts, a fully funded MOT training path, a pension scheme, staff parking, and long-term security with a specialist firm that has over 25 years of local success.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• F‑Gas certification is preferred or interest in obtaining it.
• Active MOT Tester licence preferred, but DVSA training is provided for experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Carry out official MOT tests strictly in accordance with current DVSA guidelines.
• Perform routine vehicle servicing, safety checks, mechanical repairs, and braking overhauls.
• Use dedicated diagnostic systems to troubleshoot technical, electrical, and mechanical faults accurately.
• Maintain high workshop standards, delivering precise, first-time fix results across a wide range of vehicles.
